In 1986 I received a BS in forestry/ fisheries management from VPI&SU. The spiraling career track that followed has included jobs as a bookkeeper, office manager and agent in a Real Estate office, and salesperson for outdoor sporting goods, shoes and natural healthcare products. Each business or job provided an opportunity to show others how to improve their lives or sparked the thrill of learning more about our world.
For the last twenty years, I have been a massage therapist specializing in Visionary Cranial Sacral Work. More information on my training in this field may be found at http://www.milneinstitute.com . During this time, I designed and taught courses in anatomy, physiology and bodywork for two local massage schools, Rockingham Memorial Hospital, and James Madison University. I also assisted Hugh Milne in courses with the Milne Institute, Inc. My passion for obtaining and sharing knowledge brought me to James Madison University to follow in my grandmother's footsteps by improving my skills as an instructor. |
